Answers to questions I suspect you'll have:

Where are you located?

I live in the awesome mountain town of Bend, Oregon. While the town gets a bit of a bad rep for being snooty and crowded (which I will agree there are WAY too many sprinter vans here...) it's also located in about the coolest biome I could imagine. 10 minutes to the west of me are the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, with tall ponderosa pines and the sweet smell of Manzanita brush. To the East are miles of open sagebrush, Juniper forests, and hidden gullies and draws that team with high desert wildlife. I could not hope to live anywhere more beautiful and diverse, and am proud to be living in the home my grandparents did, and creating in my grandfathers shop.

How many employees do you have?

It's just me guys. I do have the occasional help from my wife as a second opinioner, my boys as comedic relief and cheerleaders, and my extended family for encouragement and inspiration, and perhaps most important of all--my Labrador and best bud, Buckely, who warms my toes when I'm working at my desk.

How long will my order take?

Production times vary greatly and most items are made-to-order, so please look in the product descriptions for leadtime estimates. Keep in mind production schedules can change anytime based on material availability, but if the schedule changes significantly I will let you know.

Do you use waxed canvas?

No. As much as I LOVE the look of waxed canvas--especially when it's really broken in--I have found that waxed canvas turns into something of a sugar-cookie in the dusty environment of Central Oregon, and is much better suited to constantly damp environments. Instead, I use canvas that has been factory pre-treated with a water repellent coating that is highly effective in my field tests. As I type this, I have not attempted to wax this pre-treated material, so cannot speak to that as an option, but plan to test that out as time allows. If your heart is set on a waxed canvas product, I encourage you to check out some of the other canvas bushcraft gear makers out there--the ones you'll find first are awesome people and awesome companies worthy of all of our support.

Do you do custom work?

At this time I do not do expressly "custom" products--however if you think something I am currently offering could be changed slightly to fit your needs perfectly, shoot me an email with your idea and I will do my best to accommodate your needs. Alternatively, I am ALWAYS looking for cool new ideas, so drop me a line with any product suggestions!

Do you ship internationally?

Not at this time but I hope to in the future! 

Do you have a storefront I can visit?

Nope. I work from my home workshop and am generally anti-social, but if you're ever in Bend and want to have craft brews and talk outdoor stuff, hit me up!
